About Gene Phillips Photography

Gene Phillips is an Atlanta-based photographer who specializes in capturing the light and vitality of our amazing city. Born and raised in Decatur, Gene traverses the streets of Atlanta with camera in hand to document its diverse people, rich culture, and stately architecture for the Atlanta tourism industry.  He also photographs special events, concerts, weddings, architecture, and has recently taken up aerial photography. Some of Gene's clients include Lanier Islands Resort, Midtown Alliance, Central Atlanta Progress, Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau, The Varsity, Office of Design Architecture, Bentley, City Pass, Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta Magazine, DaVita Healthcare Partners, North Carolina Arboretum, SkyView Atlanta, McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture, Daytona Beach CVB, and the International Downtown Association. Genes photos of Downtown Atlanta icons are featured on the North and South Peachtree Street Bridges: His Midtown photography will be featured in the September 2017 issue of Atlanta Magazine.
